Why I created Inspection Record
My partner (Jo) and I started a property renovation in 2024. The property remained unoccupied while we went through the process of obtaining planning permission. Part of our obligation with the insurance policy was to create an inspection record. This was initially undertaken with Microsoft Excel and was quite cumbersome.
I created this app as a way to manage our commitments and to provide peace of mind. In addition, I also wanted to save time and make the process as seamless as possible.
There are many use cases in which property is unoccupied such as undertaking a renovation or awaiting probate, etc. In often difficult situations, my hope is that this app will help alleviate some of the stress and simplify the claims process.
